Gender Equality

Hands of Compassion wants to ensure women receive equal opportunites and are treated equally to men.

We aim to empower women leaders to reach their full potential so that together we may all strengthen God's church, the Bride of Christ.

We believe in Biblical Gender Equality as described in our Statement of Faith:

GENDER EQUALITY: The Bible teaches us that both man and woman were created equal by God, and in His image; that they both had a relationship with God, shared equally with God, spoke to God and fellowshipped with Him and were both given authority to rule over the earth (Gen 1:26-28). The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ came to redeem women as well as men.

We hold workshops, bible studies and group discussions and speak out against gender discrimination and gender based violence.

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female,
for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
(Galatians 3:28)
